GO LONG

The HQ Enduro meeting finally gave us some reward for the team's efforts over the last 2-3 months. Pole position, 2 wins and a 2nd place in the 3 15 lap races was a fantastic result for the Check It Out Graphics, GAC team.

The cherry for our weekend was regaining the Multistate Challenge Trophy, which I first won in 2005. To win it back now with the GAC is a very rewarding feeling and proof we are making progress.

I wasn't unchallenged on-track, with both Bo Jensen and Cameron Waters showing some real speed. Unfortunately Cam went home early with chassis issues with this Jacer.

In the first and third race I managed to break the draft on the first lap and pull away to a 10+ second lead on both occasions.

I still feel there is more in the car and we have some new issues to resolve before the next State round in September.
