Round 3 - SA State Championships

Its 3 wins from 3 rounds for us in the SA State Championship after the weekend. The AJR team helped me to take pole position, 4 wins and 4 fastest laps over the weekend, which also saw a new livery for the Check It Out Graphics GAC.

It wasn't without incident, however, when I almost started race 2 from pit lane after a fuel leak was spotted just as I was about to roll out of form up. Dad was frantic fixing the problem in pit lane so I could join the race, but luckily another competitor had an oil leak on the warm up lap and the start was aborted. That meant I was allowed to retake my starting position on the front row, and go onto win the race. We were very lucky, and Dad's efforts in those 5 minutes may end up saving the championship for us.

Each race played out similar, I had a good dice with Bo Jensen in the opening laps, but I managed to break the draft on each occasion and pull away, to the tune of 23 seconds in the race 3.

As always, I couldn't do any of this with out my team. Dad and Leon were fantastic and we're looking forward to having Tommo and Kev back at round 4. Big thanks also to Shane and the Cartek boys, Duplex IT, Drive to Live, and GAC for their continued support.
